The Marriage Pact by Kathleen Fuller is a book based on the Amish way of life. Daisy believes she is in love with Maynard, to the point of obsession. Maynard, on the other hand, seems bored and sometimes irritated by her, but she is determined to make this relationship work no matter what, for she believes that it's God's will for them to get married. Her parents have spotted their daughter's problem, and they know that they have to do something for the well-being of their daughter, so they decide to send her away to her aunt's home. And that is where she met Perry, young man who has decided to stay single for the rest of his life. But his mother is determined to find him a wife.
