Review of Courage to Love Again by Kimberly Brown

This book, Courage to Love Again by Kimberly Brown, as the author indicates, dwells mostly on infertility, loss, weight issues, and spousal abuse. 28-year-old Pasha faces all these misfortunes, which leaves her broken and depressed when her husband Raymond verbally abuses her, offering no support even after these losses. He does not stop there but eventually throws her out of their matrimonial home and replaces her with a new wife who is also pregnant with his child. God, in his mercies, sends an angel in Pasha's way when she needs him most, in the name of Callum, but she does not know whether to accept the help or shut him out. She is broken, but she realizes that whether she likes it or not, she has to tread on this journey ahead of her, for if anything, she is alive, and that is the first blessing that she needs to count. To know the journey she decided to take, readers will find it out in this touching book, Courage to Love Again by Kimberly Brown.

This book makes us realize that in this world that we live in, there are those individuals with dark hearts whose only goal is to make life unbearable for the vulnerable. And this doesn't imply that the vulnerable are to blame or something is off about them; the dark-hearted are the problem. It also makes us realize that in a world with such dark-hearted people, angels also exist. The greatest task is to know when they show up so as not to miss them. And that is why I am impressed by this book.

The book is great, but I was not very comfortable with the degree of profanity in it.

I rate this book, Courage to Love Again, by Kimberly Brown, 4 out of 5 stars.

I recommend this book to those readers who have been through infertility, loss, weight issues, and spousal abuse. It will help them realize that as long as they are alive, life can still offer them a second chance, and it will also help them decide to seek help if need be. Additionally, it will help them take a look around and realize that maybe there is an angel who has been sent to help them out if only they look closer.
