BOOK REVIEW: Review of A Rookie Mistake by Laura Carter.
Colton Quinn, a cowboy football star, has misbehaved during the off-season. Harris, his agent, is having a hard time straightening things out for him, and now his career is at risk. His daughter, Kansas Harris, an aspiring agent, is determined to prove to her father that she can be a professional and that she is the one to save Colton's career. The first step is to know him better so as to uncover the real reason for his misbehavior in the first place, then determine the cure. Everything is going according to plan, but as events unfold, a problem arises. The more time they spent together, the harder it was for them to stay apart, but being together was out of the question if they cared about their respective careers. To find out more, read this book, A Rookie Mistake by Laura Carter.
The book is expertly written with two people from two different worlds, but the author somehow comes up with an intriguing story. The uniqueness of the main characters in terms of their personalities is quite fascinating. The writing style and plot are easy to follow and very consistent, with no gaps in between the chapters. Additionally, I like the way we are able to get into the minds of both characters, as each is giving their side of the story.
I rate this book, A Rookie Mistake by Laura Carter, 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend it to readers interested in love stories based on the world of sports. It's a book that one can easily delve into and get lost in. Readers will enjoy it from the beginning to the end.
