BOOK REVIEW: Review of Tempted Hearts by Cissy Mecca

In Tempted Hearts by Cissy Mecca, Cole and his friends have made a pact that forbids them from falling in love. Unfortunately, all his friends have broken the pact, and he's the only one left standing. He has been sure of himself until Juliette shows up. She's the opposite of his organized character. According to him, she's total chaos. He would never dream of falling for such a character, but his heart is threatening to beat all logic. To find out what lies ahead for the two, read the book Tempted Hearts by Cissy Mecca.

The story is quite intriguing. I like the way the author has brought out the theme of friendship. The closeness between the boys and the way they look out for each other is impressive. The girls too have the same kind of friendship. Additionally, the two main characters are exact opposites. This has enhanced suspense within the story as the readers are left wondering how it will all end. The characters are well developed too.

I didn't like the fact that the final decision depended on only one character. It appeared to be one-sided.

I rate this book, Tempted Hearts, by Cissy Mecca 4 out of 5 stars.

I recommend it to adults who like steamy romance books. Also, those readers who may be experiencing difficulty in finding and accepting love due to painful family backgrounds. The book has dealt with this theme immensely.
